A visit to the library and a chance discovery of Cat Dog by Mem Fox and Mark Teague sparked memories of reading children’s books aloud and inspired reflections on children’s book design.

Creating a children’s book is a team effort. From choosing the book size and coordinating illustrations to designing the cover and preparing files for print-on-demand publishing, every decision required collaboration, communication, and attention to detail.
